Stephen King’s classic horror novel was brought to life beautifully in a hotel located in the pacific northwest. The actual hotel that inspired his novel, on the other hand, is located in Estes Park Colorado. A few measly miles from Rocky Mountain National Park, an area that showcases Colorado’s true beauty.
